Brief report 

The department of Microbiology has organized an induction programme for Newly admitted students of M.Sc. First Semester. The programme was focused on openhanded introduction of the students about the department, faculty, syllabus, examination system, marking pattern and previous records.

Out come

The students get aware of departmental setup, scope, activities and achievements. They are motivated to participate in every activity conducted by department as well as college for their overall development.

M.Sc. Microbiology Sem II and IV 

Brief report 

The department of Microbiology has organized an induction programme for students of M.Sc. Second and Fourth Semester. The programme was focused on the review of previous semester’s activities, practical and theory examination, syllabus, academic calendar and details of project work. 

Out come

The students get aware of time management, multi tasking and team work. The format given for preparation of project report help them to write the outcome of their research and make a scientific report for evaluation.

A poster making and presentation completion was organized in the department based on the theme “Applied aspects of Microbiology”. The students of M.Sc. Sem II and IV prepared flex posters based on the theme in a group of four. The posters were displayed in the department and judged by Dr. D.K. Shrivastava, Professor and Head, Dept. of Microbiology, Govt. ERR college of Science, Bilaspur. 

Out come

The students get aware of searching relevant materials, display arrangements and prepare notes for presentation. They experience the comments and suggestions given by the expert.
