These course programs are to a greate extent carrier orriented. These courses and combination of papers are useful in choosing research area in computer field as well as in other areas of pure Mathematics. In P.S.C. and U.P.S.C. exams mathamatics students can choose mathemtics as one of the scoring subject. A quite good number of student of this department are absorbed in starlight, Jindal Steels, Education department both in school and higher education, India Railways Serivces & Banking Serivces.

In the Department all the stafrf members are well qualified and are regular professor(3) or regular Assistant Professor(3). All the staff members are engaged in research work. Out of six staff members three members have already been awarded Doctorate degree and three others are doing research work leading to Ph.D.

All the staff members take part very actively and enthusiastically in academic as well as personal counselling. students are guided in their weak points and suggestions are given for the imporvemetns. Tests and quizes are organized to make them active and alert about the subject contents.
