About  the  Library :

The Library of Govt. V.Y.T.P.G. Autonomous College was established in the year 1958. In a separate building the library caters to the information need of the institute faculty, students , staff and research scholars . In addition to the main library there are smaller departmental libraries that are accessed by the P.G. students. The library is open to the students from 8 A.M. to 8 P.M.

Special Features :

  • The library is well stocked more than   80000 books .
  • Nearly 103 national & international research journals are subscribed         
  • 23 Magazines are available .
  • 12 daily newspapers are also available to the students .
  • A well organized reading room is available to the students from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. .
  •  Newspapers, Magazines and other books can be borrowed  by the students by depositing  their I-Card .\
  • Reference  books can also be accessed by the research scholars .
  • A special book bank facility .(19638 books ) is provided to the SC & ST students .
  • The process of up gradation of the  library through computerization is started and remaining work is still  in progress .
  • It is soon be connected with INFLIBNET.
